Our Story

Firecrest Aviation officially opened its doors on August 5, 2025—a day that holds a special place in our hearts, as it also marked our daughter’s first birthday. Located in Holly Springs, Mississippi, where Wesley was born and raised, our flight school is grounded in family, passion, and purpose. Erica joined Wesley here in May, and together, as an engaged couple, we launched Firecrest Aviation to inspire young, aspiring pilots to chase their dreams—just like Wesley did.

Driven by a deep love for aviation, our mission is to provide high-quality flight instruction at an affordable price. We pride ourselves on offering personalized one-on-one lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. To make training even more accessible, we’re happy to travel to surrounding airports to meet students where they are.

Wesley Bolden
Certified Flight 

Wesley Bolden is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and professional pilot with a strong background in both single- and multi-engine aircraft. Wesley brings a well-rounded and safety-focused approach to flight training.

A graduate of Delta State University and ATP Flight School, Wesley is committed to providing high-quality, personalized instruction to each student. 

Wesley’s professional flying experience also includes his role as a C208 captain.

With a passion for mentoring aspiring pilots and a strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems, Wesley takes pride in creating a supportive, effective, and safe learning environment for each of his students.
